Community Futures Youth Event Vernon BC

Leah Goldstein speaks frequently to youth across all ages and circumstances, from homeless youth to those branching out after high school.  On December 3rd she will be speaking to the Youth via Community Futures North Okanagan in Vernon, B.C.  Leah’s passion is to encourage youth to live their life without limits, she draws from her lifetime of experiences. Leah will be available for the Youth to meet and chat with her after she has spoken.  She will also be available to autograph books.

The Community Futures Youth Event through the North Okanagan EMPLOY Program is a federally funded client centered employment program for youth aged 16 – 30 who face barriers to employment. EMPLOY assists youth in attaining the broad range of skills, knowledge and work experience they need to be successful in today’s job market.

This award winning program offers youth the opportunity to develop the tools needed for a successful job search, understand employer expectations, and learn the communication and problem solving skills which results in them being a valuable employee.
